To proceed, please confirm that you are not breastfeeding, have not had breast surgery, and have not undergone any scan involving radiation within the last 90 days, and that you will follow these guidelines.

Top 6 Common Questions About Thermography

Is thermography safe?

Yes. Thermography uses infrared imaging — no radiation, no contact, and no discomfort.

Does it replace a mammogram?

No. Thermography is an adjunct tool and should not replace mammography or other diagnostic imaging

Is it covered by insurance?

Most insurance and Medicare don’t cover thermography. Many clients use HSA/FSA or get partial reimbursement.

How accurate is it?

Thermography reveals temperature shifts, but results vary. It works best as an additional screening method.

Can it diagnose breast cancer?

No. Thermography cannot diagnose cancer. Only a biopsy can confirm if abnormal cells are cancerous.

Nursing or had surgery?

A minimum 90-day healing period is required to ensure accurate thermography results after breastfeeding or surgery.
